INTERNSHIPNANYANG INC
During my internship at Nanyang Inc, I mainly created animations, illustrations, models and edit videos for the company which were associated with their tents or events.

One of them was the instructional video to aid Nanyang's clients in depicting the structure and formation of their tent. The video would educate them on how the tent is built and set up to its finished form.

Over the course of my internship I picked up a few different such as Illustrator and sketch up modelling skills.

Having done the majority of my work in Illustrator. I assisted Nanyang in their biggest event called Dining in the Garden City which was in conjunction with Singapore Garden Festival.

Brief description of Dining in the Garden City
​
DITGC is an event where goers can enjoy their favourite heritage dishes in the modern interpretation of local flavours. Customers can enjoy the wide variety of Singaporean dishes, live performances and star chefs unveiling their steps to create their signature dishes.

How I contributed in the event
​
Before the event had begun i designed and created the menu boards pinned onto the stores which helps customers order their chosen dishes. I too made the banners and signs like the media wall, masterclass banner and the navigation signs were to direct customers on where to go.

The payment for the food was also made by a POS card system that works like an EZ-link card. I helped re-design the plain looking card into a much more fitting look for the event as well as a scraped idea for a coupon method.

Other animations like the logo transitions for Nanyang Inc & Neumann Young (external company) were given by my supervisor to present them with new introductions to their future videos.

Apart from the animation tasks, I had to edit videos as well. Time lapses were usually done by me when there was any footage available for editing.
What is Nanyang Inc?
Nanyang Inc is an established name since 1965 in the arena of building and putting up tentages for outdoor events. They provide marquees of various forms, materials, shapes and sizes to create the perfect ambience and mood for the desired event. Any chosen marquee Nanyang has will be sheltered, dry and cool at all times. Privileged guests should be at total comfort and ease while having a fabulous time. Nanyang believes that everyone should be away from the possible weather hazards and the last thing that clients should worry about is safety.
My experience as an intern
I have also made some 3d models like tents and different structures for visualization. These models will be used in the near future whenever someone from the company needs the model to be inserted into a scene if a client needs aid in depicting clearly.

Certain examples takes quite some time to model out especially since some of the references did not provide exact measurements.
